Community meeting in Port Barre with Cowboy Preacher & Pastor Shelvin from KOCZ 103.7 FM in Opelousas. People in the community of Port Barre are growing in their passion for prayer and interceding for one another's personal needs for their lives, family, friends, and community. On Thursday, September 11, a prayer session entitled "Come See A Man" II Thessalonians 3:1-5 was held at Port Barre City Hall at 6 p.m. The speakers for this joyous occasion were Pastor Elton Sam "Cowboy Preacher", Pastor Easton Shelvin and Gospel Rapper - Will Stevens, "LA Will". The excitement from the speakers and their love for Christ became contagious as they helped the people of this great community discover who Jesus is and the importance of a relationship with God. Among the many gathered for these worships experiences were Mayor Gil Savoie, Chief Deon Boudreaux and Rev. Marcus Lazard.
